Ruth Wilson

Ruth joined the team as BIOSEC Project Manager in October 2016, where she leads on the project’s social media and communications, financial monitoring, events programme and network coordination. Prior to this, she was Institute Coordinator at the Sheffield Institute for International Development (SIID), Administrator for the Research Exchange for the Social Sciences (RESS) and Project Administrator on the EU LLP-funded PrESS project. She also worked at Sheffield City Council as a project manager for the city’s Housing Market Renewal (HMR) programme, working within some of Sheffield’s most disadvantaged neighbourhoods to deliver housing and regeneration projects.

Being a former BA Politics graduate of the University, Ruth is excited to be back in the Department and supporting this high profile research project.
